In the opening round, just one player correctly predicted the winner of all seven games in the Super League Predictor – from a total of over 9,000!
There are six fixtures to predict in Round 2 (one less due to the 2026 Betfred World Club Challenge taking place) and here’s what to expect, including predictor weightings for each game…
Bradford Bulls v Catalans Dragons
The Dragons are unbeaten across their last nine Super League games against the Bulls but haven’t met in over a decade.
This is set to be their first meeting at Bartercard Odsal since a 32-30 victory for the Dragons in July 2014.
Will the Bulls capitalise on home turf, or will the Dragons go two from two?
Weighted predictions: Bulls (7 points), Dragons (3 points)
Leeds Rhinos v York Knights
Prior to the season starting the majority would have probably looked at this fixture and said York Knights didn’t have a chance.
Their famous win over Hull KR in Round 1 changed that.
Although the Rhinos are still favourites in Round 2, taking a gamble with the Knights could see you earn seven points if the newcomers can go back-to-back.
This will be the first ever Super League meeting between Leeds and York, and interestingly, each of the Rhinos’ last five games against newly promoted sides have been decided by margins of just four points or fewer, including three by a single point.
Is there more drama on the cards?
Weighted predictions: Rhinos (3 points), Knights (7 points)
St Helens v Leigh Leopards
The predictor weightings are evenly split for the four remaining fixtures in this round!
It starts with the Saints and the Leopards’ enticing encounter, which could be anyone’s game on the night, right?
Leigh have a decent winning record against St Helens in recent times, but Paul Rowley will be expecting a reaction from his side in their home opener.
Which way will you swing?
Weighted predictions: Saints (5 points), Leopards (5 points)
Toulouse Olympique v Castleford Tigers
The Tigers have won each of their previous two Super League matches against Toulouse Olympique by an aggregate margin of 32 points, with both of those meetings coming in the 2022 season.
Fast forward to 2026 and it’s Toulouse who have two points on the board ahead of Round 2, whereas Castleford will be hoping to get their first two this Saturday…
Weighted predictions: Toulouse (5 points), Tigers (5 points)
Wigan Warriors v Hull FC
The Warriors lost their most recent Super League home game against Hull FC (12-32 in July 2025) after winning seven in a row previously. They have never suffered back-to-back defeats against them at The Brick Community Stadium, however.
Which team will secure successive victories in the opening rounds?
The Warriors can be ruthless on their day and have won each of their last six Super League regular season matches convincingly, and by double-digit margins. That said, FC won nine of their 13 away games in the competition last season.
Who are you backing?
Weighted predictions: Warriors (5 points), Hull FC (5 points)
Huddersfield Giants v Wakefield Trinity
Trinity won both of their matches against the Giants in 2025 after losing four in a row against them previously.
In fact, their 48-2 victory against them in their most recent meeting last August was their largest ever against them in the competition.
Which team do you think will claim their first win of the season? It’s another tough call to make!
Weighted predictions: Giants (5 points), Trinity (5 points)
